CYO Youth Sports

Catholic Youth Organization athletics is a vital and important part of youth ministry. Through youth ministry CYO works to construct an environment that encourages the development of relationships between youth and adults who share their faith in a wide variety of situations. Athletics can have the effectiveness of the “minister”, in this case, the coach.

Daily Rosary

The centuries-old personal devotion of the Rosary is prayed in the church after 7:15am daily Mass (about 7:40 AM) and on Sundays at 8:30 AM.

Eucharistic to Homebound

Eucharistic ministers take the Eucharist to Catholics unable to attend Mass.

The Fishermen clean and vacuum the church once a week, usually on Thursdays at 7:30am

  • Altar Servers
    Altar servers assist the priest during Mass. Altar server training takes place in the early spring and is available to those in the fifth grade or older.
  • Choir
    The choir ministers to the parish directly through the liturgical celebration of the Mass.

    Greeters are the smiling faces that welcome people as they arrive at Mass and carry the gifts to the altar during the Presentation of the Gifts.
  • Liturgical Readers
    Readers proclaim the Word of God to the congregation during the Mass. There are occasional training workshops for readers.

Daily Liturgy: 7:15 AM Mon - Sat.
Note: During the school year - there will also be a Weekly Liturgy on Wed. 8:30 AM

Holy Day Masses
7:15 AM and 6:00 PM & 8:30 AM during school year.

Saturday: 3:30 PM or by appointment

Baptisms and Weddings
Please call (503) 244-4945 ext. 10 to make arrangements for either. Most baptisms take place early Saturday and must be preceded by a preparatory session. Weddings require at least six months preparation.
